About the event
This module is the final part of this three-part module, for the Principles of Neurological Recovery. In this course, we will focus on gait training clients with specific injuries with a focus on SCI, TBI, and CVA.
Module 3: Didactic Content will concentrate on the principles of therapeutic exercise, Robotics with gait training, and the use of orthotics with the SCI population. The lab component will focus on the management of muscle tone during standing activities, static and dynamic for pre-gait and gait training from BWSS to OG with modified independence. The lab will also include a demonstration of the Hocoma Lokomat and Eksobionic skeleton.
